Inspiring the Future of Iowa’s Insurance Industry

The Federation of Iowa Insurers is proud to launch the Emerging Leaders Program, a new initiative created to inspire, develop, and connect future leaders across Iowa’s insurance community.

This exclusive program brings together rising professionals from Federation member companies for an opportunity to gain leadership training, grow professional networks, and collaborate with peers and industry leaders.

 

Program Details

Participant Eligibility
Each Federation member company is encouraged to nominate up to two employees who demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to the Iowa insurance industry.

Target Participants
Nominees should typically be employees not currently involved in Federation committees or working groups. This program is intended to broaden their exposure to the Federation and build cross-company connections. Member companies are encouraged to select employees from a diverse range of insurance backgrounds.

Event Schedule
The 2025 program will include a two-part event held in conjunction with the Federation’s Annual Board and Members Meeting in November 2025. The Emerging Leaders program will take place on Thursday, November 14, from approximately 1:30 - 6:30 p.m., followed by the Federation Board and Member Meeting on Friday, November 14, from 8:00 - 11:00 a.m.  A working agenda for both events will be provided to confirmed participants.

  • Number of Nominations: Up to two nominees per member company
