Athene Stuff the Bus
Friday, May 20, 2022Employees from 27 central Iowa organizations, along with several individual contributors from the community, donated children’s books to United Way of Central Iowa’s Stuff the Bus book drive. The results were announced at the annual community-wide book collection at Athene in West Des Moines on Thursday. 13,825 books were donated to support United Way of Central Iowa literacy programs. This makes an 11-year total of 112,696 books to help early childhood reading. Read more here.
