The Federation of Iowa Insurers was established in 1970. We are committed to educating and informing the general public, consumers, government leaders, the business community, and our members about issues affecting the insurance industries, and ways to improve members’ ability to do business in the state.
Our vision is to be the voice of the life insurance, health insurance and related financial services industry in Iowa.
Our mission is to stay committed to cultivating a legislative and regulatory environment that encourages its members to operate and grow their businesses in Iowa. The Federation represents the interests of its members, their employees and customers to policymakers, regulators and other interested parties. The Federation is dedicated to enhancing the awareness and understanding of the life insurance, health insurance and related financial services industry in Iowa.
We are committed to educating and informing the general public, consumers, government leaders, the business community, and our members about issues affecting our industries, and ways to improve members’ ability to do business in the state.
On behalf of our members, the Federation serves as legislative advocates on policies proposed and acted on by the Iowa Legislature, the Governor of Iowa and Iowa’s Congressional Delegation. Additionally, we actively work with the Iowa Insurance Division, and other trade associations and consumer groups to advocate and communicate industry-wide information.
