Governor Reynolds Declares "Iowa Insurance Day"

Today Governor Kim Reynolds signed a proclamation honoring the major role the insurance and financial services industry plays in Iowa’s economy, declaring February 10, 2021 "Iowa Insurance Day." The state is home to more than 200 insurance companies. In 2019 the industry contributed $188 million to state coffers through premium taxes and fees. You can read the full proclamation here.
